Route description

Distance and timings are still being confirmed. Coming soon.

The route includes a section through the neighbourhood, but the larger part is on the hill itself. Proper shoes, preferably with ankle support, are advised.

The route is permit free (City of Tshwane).

Getting there

Public transport or ride-share recommended. Parking near the start can be limited. Check individual route maps for details.

After the walk

Lunch is available at the finish venue after the walk. It's not included in your ticket, but it's a good reason to stick around.

Family and supporters are welcome to meet you at the finish line and join the celebrations. You don't need to complete the full distance. The point is showing up.

Can't finish? That's fine. Let a volunteer know and exit the course at any point.

What to bring

At least 1L of water: a small backpack or camel pack works well

Sunscreen and a hat

Comfortable, worn-in walking shoes. Do not wear new shoes on the day
